By raising the 'Sarong Flag' as a performance action on the 2018 International Women's Day at the Independence Monument in Yangon, Zoncy not only challenged the deeply rooted, widely spread, and often referred concept of a most-quoted proverb, 'A woman can ruin a country.' or in Burmese (မိန်းမဖျက် ပြည်ပျက်) but also highlighted the struggle of women political participation in Myanmar democratic transition.

On the 2021 International Women's Day under the Military Coup, Zoncy raised The 'Sarong Flag' along with all genders across Myanmar, fostering a sense of unity to deter the military forces, resist dictatorship and gender discrimination, and reclaim their freedom, dignity, and self-esteem and promote the equality and worthiness of all human beings.
