(b. 1987, Kawthoung, Myanmar)

She was a child who cherished ferry rides between Kawthoung, Myanmar, and Ranong, Thailand—where rivers mark borders, but the sea blurs them. In Yangon, she discovered poetry, books, and the thrill of organizing zines and events, even while studying computer science. Fascinated by algorithms, visuals, and the interplay of logic and chance, she eventually found her true path in performance and contemporary art, where each act of courage transforms both the work and the artist. Through life’s turbulence, stories, and shadows, art has remained her only language for communicating—with herself and with the world.
